Wishing the best for next year for Van Buren Co. Loretto crashed the boards and took advantage of VB turnovers. Congrats to them also.

I was suprised to see VB come out so strong, but in the end they just couldn't keep up with Loretto, especially on the boards. Loretto has some very solid players and if they shoot better from beyond the arc than they did today they can make some noise against Union City.

 

However, I'm anxious to see VB in the next few years on both the girls and boys fronts. With the miss basketball finalist returning with almost her entire supporting cast, and the boys only losing one player I wouldn't doubt if both teams make it to Murphy next year.

 

Good luck to Loretto, Union City will be very tough to knock off!

Congrats to Van Buren for making it this far. Also congrats to Loretto on the win. They looked pretty good today. Their size definitely gave us trouble. Good luck tomorrow against UC.

Hats off to Van Buren on a great season. I enjoyed conversing with fans of Van Buren prior to the game, at halftime, & after the game & they seem to be a very nice bunch of folks! Sure am proud of my Mustangs! Great season. Hopefully both of these programs will be back in the Glass House next season.
