I don't know anything about a couple of these schools, but have seen some real good games over the years watching the rest .You would be in that small .0001 percent of fans to pick against the Rebs but there is nothing wrong with going into that game and thinking it might be your year.I thought 2012 was a great chance for DB and they did play a nice game .You just know Marville isn't going to beat Maryville. As for  DB 2015,I think they will have some really good young players, loaded on the junior class.SH has a great 10th grade class coming up,I saw them twice against DB's great 9th graders.Should be a lot more fun then watching schools that should not have been playing against the bigger schools in our last conference.

I believe this will be a very competitive conference, and will be worth making it out to games to watch. I believe DB returns a very solid RB, not sure what science Hill lost. those two and Maryville are the favorites obviously but im interested to see what Bradley brings to the table. Hardin Valley will have to prove it can compete year in and year out at a high level. Bearden, I think is interesting with all their changes on staff. Should be a whole new team With some young talent.

Bradley returns a stud QB, throwing and running. Should have a handful of skill guys to compliment athletically. One of the best coached teans in the newly formed conference.

I'll have to take your word because that's one of the teams that I know nothing about. It's up to everyone outside of Maryville to bring their best against the Rebs, but it's good to know we will get to watch some great athlete's against Bradley this year and most every team from what I'm hearing

Bradley is well coached and won't be a pushover. Let's remember 2 years ago in the playoffs they went toe to toe with maryville for a half. Yes maryville won big but the competiveness was there. And last year, they gave science hill all they wanted and could have won the game. Bradley will not be intimidated.

    • As I said somewhere earlier in the thread, the original plans had no outdoor athletic facilities being part of the campus.  The original plan was for HVA to use facilities at nearby schools.  Very late in the process they came up with a plan and found budget to have minimal facilities and crammed them in to space that never was intended for athletic facilities.
    • Agreed, the way the field is turned you get the evening sun blasting right into the press box making filming a nightmare there, plus its so low.  The field is land locked and parking is a nightmare too. Seems like Knox County could have done a lot better there with the design and the quality.
    • I think this upcoming team may be pretty good, they will definately be better up front and if they can replace Dozier, Heyward and Rembert, they can be real good. They have the same strange schedule, but this time with 5 straight home games. The road games at Jeff County, Powell will be tough to open up with and the back side at Bearden is the tough game there.  One question I had if anyone knows: There has been some talk of an indoor practice facility in the past, with the new track area now more of a track area, that kind of leaves a need for a football practice area. Just sayin....
    • I find it hard to believe that 70% of a schools enrollment is zoned for another school district
    • I was told that the indoor facility is happening regardless of the vote on the taxes but it would be a much bigger project with more funds if they vote goes through
