Flo Wrestling Eastern World Championships

ENTRY DEADLINE:

Must be received by April 18, 2015. Online Entries Only. No late entires. Must make weight as entered. No changes after entry deadline. Limited to the first 1,800 entries.

FEE:

$30.00 per entry must be pre-paid. Online registration only. Wrestler may enter only one weight class and only one age group.  Please pay and enter as a team when possible. No refunds! Present your AAU/AB Card at weigh-in for a $5.00 cash refund on your entry.

RULES

Modified National Federation High School Rules (minimum rest between matches and maximum number of matches not in effect). Hair code & fingernails will be enforced by referees. Hair cover (if required) must be with wrestler at weigh-in. Head gear required for 15 and 18 and Under age groups.

FORMAT:

Collegiate style. Double Elimination. No seeding. Challenge for second format. Referee decisions final. All protests must be made before final match on protested wrestler’s first day of wrestling. Birth certificates must be available if requested by tournament officials.

6 & under - Must not be 7 before 9/1/14 (9-1-07/Present)

    37, 40, 43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 60, 61-70 LT HWT, 71-UP HWT

8 & Under - Must not be 9 before 9/1/14 (9-1-05/8-31-07)

    43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 75, 85, 86-100 LT HWT, 101-UP HWT

10 & Under - Must not be 11 before 9/1/14 (9-1-03/8-31-05)

    52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 80, 85, 90, 100, 110, 111-130 LT HWT, 131- UP HWT

12 & Under - Must not be 13 before 9/1/14 (9-1-01/8-31-03)

    64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 80, 84, 88, 92, 96, 100, 105, 110, 120, 130, 145, 146-160 LTHWT, 161-UP HWT

15 & Under -Must not be 16 before 9/1/14 (9-1-98/8-31-01) (+3 lb. allowance)

    75, 82, 89, 95, 101, 108, 115, 125, 135, 145, 157, 175, 200, 285

18 & Under - Must not be 19 before 9/1/14 (9-01-95/8-31-98) 9th–12th grades

106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, 285 (+3 lb. allowance)

18 & Under must be enrolled in high school. Copy of current report card must be available if official protest is filed.

 

TIME PERIODS:

6 - 8 & under 1-1-1 Including Finals

10 - 12 - 15 & under 11/2 - 11/2 -11/2 Including Finals

18 and Under 2-2-2 including Finals.

Consolations Matches 1-1-1.

2015 Flo Eastern Worlds Championships

This is the last tournament in the Flo-Wrestling series which includes the Reno Tournament coming up. The Reno Event currently has 3,500 wrestlers registered and the entry deadline has been extended. The Eastern Worlds is the first Roler Event east of the Mississippi.

Why is this not being blown up all over the Wrestling community in tn? I get emails everyday about tournaments, but this was a secret. Thank you to whomever posted this.

It has been posted on here for a while and we have handed out more than 3,000 flyers at our high school and youth tournaments and Jack Roller has been email blasting weekly.  So far I have received a bunch of phone calls from people in: Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio, Alabama, North Carolina, Michigan, Nebraska, Virginia, and Tennessee.

You would think that with it being a World Championship, it would have something so anyone could look at the registered kids...

Small local tournaments have a better system.... sad!

Low entry level reflecting overall interest levels for extra off season prep, other than Chattanooga Mid-Tn/Clarksville areas? TRICITES area wrestlers & Fans have Amazing Energy once the seasons begin, but this kind of event is the mat time you need when it Really Counts in February.
