I just want to let everyone know how obnoxious this man was to me and my son at the district tournament. I know Farragut will beat us, and his son is a phenomenal but I've never met a man as horrible as this man is. Way to hold up the great hospitable reputation of Farragut!

well me and #96 came early to watch Heritage/LC and evidently this man delegates where people sit over here in the high rent district of West Knoxville. He yelled "We would have room if these Maryville fans would know where to sit!!!" I said I'm sorry I didn't know this sidewalk was reserved. He said well it is for Farragut parents!!! And then he got to meet RW87!!!

I've been to 4 football games. 2 varsity and 2 middle school. Several basketball games. Too many to number. Nothing but nice, this was unbelievable today.I guess it made him feel like a big man to jump on me and a 16 year old. I wonder if he would have if it had been men sitting on his precious sidewalk. I am sorry you experienced this.  I think you will find that most of the Farragut fans are genuinely nice people.  If you have ever been to a game before, you would probably realize that the visitors tend to sit in the stands or near their own team in the visitor dugout.  The Farragut parents usually line up on the sidewalk, altho some sit here and there.  Anyways, you probably had a better experience sitting near your team and people you know.  The parent in question is a nice person--but can get riled up at times.  I hope you have a better experience next time you are at our Ballpark.  Best of luck moving forward.  You have a really good team.

Lol funny that you know which dad it is. Did you witness our verbal exchange or does the Dad always treat visitors this way? Lol

Well, I did not witness the exchange; however, I had noticed that you were there and wondered if you realized that the visitors usually sit on the other side.  I just thought you might not like to be surrounded by the opposing team parents.  I'm sure at your place, the same people usually sit in the same place--and that is certainly true of our parents.  I was working concessions.--so when I came back out I noticed you had moved.  When it comes to sports, sometimes parents get a little carried away.  I just hope you have a better experience next time.

Well unfortunately I'll have to go back Monday. What I'm not clear on is that if the fans are segregated, how does the stands work. Seems like the teams fans were scattered throughout the bleachers.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
