Gaddis and Woods have built a machine but not alone. There is a common link that has done more than most realize to change the culture.

 

The job should go to Shane Jacobs. End of search.

We were shocked by Woods sudden departure. I believe Jacobs was here under Coach Scott. I'm sure Haney will look around for someone with head coaching experience first before promoting Jacobs. He's a good DC but look what happened the last time we made a DC a HC. It didn't go well. I hope whoever is hired doesn't change our offensive system. I was told that Jacobs wants to run a similar system to Huntington or Union City. I don't like that idea. You don't run a ball control offense with a team full of race horses.

I'm sure they will open up the search and not just offer it to. Jacobs without taking other applications. There were a lot if coaches interested in the job before and there should be even more now

I haven't heard anything from Tide fans about Gaddis coming back. All I've heard since he left was how he was going to Oak Ridge till the Milan job opened up. I didn't and don't buy that one. I think Gaddis is where he wants to be and isn't going anywhere.

Everyone knows that Kevin Ward will be the next coach at Milan.

I'm not sure Jacobs will be interested. It's not actually a good time to take the job. They just won their only championship and expectations are sky high. And the best class they've ever had will soon be gone and it's bound to decline.

If you want a wide open offense guy, go get McCallie. He'll use Malone like Adam Craig. And he's worked with Jacobs before. Win win.

No doubt Peabody will find a great coach. Tons of talent over there. Never mind a coach leaving a program thst leaves it in better shape than when he got there.
