West, South -Doyle and I think Heritage has a great chance to come in third. Heritage has just over seventy kids out for the spring and some real good running backs but I watched them against G-P last week in a game like scrimmage and it was 24-24 going into the forth quarter then a lot of younger players were getting in and it ended out 48-30 Heritage. I still think they make to many mistakes to jump ahead of west and S-D but because of the depth in numbers this year I think they can come in thrid.

Gp is not very good compared to larger schools. And gp will be down this year might not be a good sign at all for the mountaineers. No disrespect to either school but gp would not win many games outside of 2/3a. Sounds like the wb streak may be safe for another year.

That's good to know. I was surprised how bad the passing game was for Heritage that day. it looked like my mom and dad out in the yard passing the football and their 75 years old.

Good to know. If WB's scrimmage with Cleveland was any indication the secondary will a strength for the team this year. We had 2 pick 6s and a few more interceptions in that scrimmage. That does not bode well for heritage if what you said is true.

It was bad. But they did lose their top 4 receivers from last years team. And the QB and some of the new receivers missed at least some of spring because of baseball and other sports. But by the time season rolls around they'll have their feel and timing down.

    • Egotistical? That's a new one.  It's funny, I'm friends with two of the younger coaches that he "ran off" as you say. In fact, he helped them find jobs, encouraged them to do what was best for their growing families, provided advice, support and still does to this day.

    • Track has always been big at OR. Ran off about 7 straight titles in the 60s. Your hate for Gaddis runs deep, huh? What did he ever do to you, to make you disdain him that much? You can’t seem to stop talking about the guy. He’s living rent free in your head. Might wanna get that checked out. Not good to go to the grave with that in your heart.
    • This late in the year, you’d have to think they’d go with an Asst. on staff, right? I’m pretty new to the area so still learning how folks do things around here…if Woods stays there to teach, it could be hard on a new guy/staff coming in…
    • Well, your Big Western Hunt better turn up some Zebras to come graze on the Stones to make the jungle gametime ready again and make sure the plumber bros. still will come service the facilities at the Mecca. I hope your weekend is Fowl. Tell Rip hello from the Five Oh. Maybe the Gravedigger will catch a ride with Alphaniner on a flyover soon to BNA.
