Pre-season Poll: Class 1A Region 7

Pick the top team for the region in 2015 and let us know in your posts which other teams may contend.

 

Each week I will add two more regions in classes 1-5 and one more in Class 6AAA.

Peabody and Union City wii fight it out for 1st in the region. Dresden should finish 3rd and LC and Humboldt will fight it out for the last playoff spot.

guess this is Union Citys.....with Peabody's getting fired, they were probably in the hunt for this thing.....not sure what went down on that bus wih the players; but it must have bad

Peabody's coach didn't get fired Boog. He left to take another job. A top assistant already on staff is now the coach.

Booger apoligizes BPM to coach Woods for making that statement....a friend had told me that the Peabody coach had been fired because of a bus incident.....a follow up with him to find what he was referring to....still think its UC's

Home team fan 100%. imo, this region will have top 3 teams in state, (Dresden, UC, Trenton), sad we have to all be lumped in same region. With Lion's gifted QB returning, and other players maturing, we'll be the surprise team this year. Hope so anyways.

I'm a home team fan myself but I see this year being exactly as BigPurpleDinosaur. Trenton and UC fighting it out for top spot with edge to Trenton. Dresden could surprise me and make a run. All depends if Winn has time in the pocket to work his magic (line play) and do we have the D speed to stop either UC or Trenton. Next year hands down Dresden!!
