    • Keep things the way they are

    • Advancement to the next class based on success
    • Combine everybody in the regular season and have a postseason split

Absolutely, why would you care? You are no longer competing against us in a game or match.

Let's take it a step further.

Mom, Dad we have a great facility and coaches. Our teacher to student ratio is very low. I can't remember the last time we had any violence at our school. The academics at our school are college oriented and you child can get most of their first year of college completed before they graduate along with the +95% of our students which persue a higher education. We would love to have your child in our student body.

I am hoping for a complete split. The TSSAA might go with the dividing off during playoffs scenario, and if that becomes reality, I hope the privates won't accept the decision and will be completely break away and form their own association. That way the publics will be happy and the privates will too. Well, at least I will be happy.

Status quo, or bring the current DII schools back into DI and split during the playoffs. The public schools will take advantage of the privates' lack of representation and ram through a complete split, but they'll be doing their teenagers a disservice. Next up: Ousting schools with open zoning. Before long, we'll have 11 football championship trophies and be an embarrassment around the nation.

Some schools will always have inherent advantages over others. Rather than legislating those schools out of our leagues, why don't we work to level the playing field...ON the playing field?
