Pre-Season Scrimmages

Since we are about to embark on the first week of pads for Tennessee, I know first scrimmages are on the horizon.  Would love to hear what East Tennessee teams are scrimmaging this first week and try to get a few locations and times on them.  I can't wait to see some football.  Post what you know and maybe we can get some results from what you see.

If we can compete with Ooltewah we are in good shape. Thanks, depth will be an issue but if we can stay healthy we will be OK.

Among the scrimmages on July 31, season opening foes Spring Hill and Summit are in action. Spring Hill goes to Riverdale, while Summit travels to McMinnville to play Warren County.

Also, Forrest visits Mt. Pleasant with Ridley Park a possible site as work continuing on the Mt. Pleasant field. Columbia Central will host Cane Ridge, either on their practice site or at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

On Tuesday, Aug. 4, Summit will host Riverdale and Spring Hill is at home meeting Mt. Juliet.

On Thursday, Aug. 6, Mt. Pleasant travels to Collinwood.

Zion Chrisitan scrimmages Cornersville on Friday, Aug. 7, while Forrest plays at Spring Hill and Summit goes to Franklin. Mt. Pleasant has a Red versus White game on the docket.

On Saturday, Aug. 8, Columbia Central travels to Cookeville for a 6 p.m. scrimmage with Morristown West at Tucker Stadium on the Tennessee Tech campus. Also, Columbia Academy scrimmages Hickman County.

Unless something changes, Clinton will be scrimmaging Grace Christian, Powell, Bearden, and Halls.
