I would like to start a thread on where our 2015 Senior Tennessee wrestlers went to college to wrestle.  This way, we can follow them.

 

Please post where the Seniors from 2015 went to school to wrestle:

 

Christopher Debien  -  UTC

 

Any  others?  I a sorry if any other post started this but i could not find it and I am want this on the front for all to see.

Obviously for next year, but what's the odds of UTC having possibly two of the top 285 recruits in the US on the same team?

It could happen that UTC has 2 great 285# recruits but I would be shocked if Nick does not receive a great offer from one of the Big10 schools.  2X National Champions seem to draw a lot of attention.

According to Intermat the following Tn wrestlers have signed. I think there may be some more Tn kids not listed. Please update if you know if more signees not listed.

DI signees

 

Chris Debien - Utc

Justin Becci- Air Force

Cale Shelton - Bucknell

Chad Soloman - Utc

Blake Sutherland - Old Dominion

Tyler Garrison - Utc

Although not listed I think Navarro from Bradley signed with Utc as well.

 

DII, DII, Naia ( I'm not sure which schools are in which division)

 

Robert Beaulieu- Lyon

Devan Cyree- Ouchita Baptist

John Kramer- Lindenwood

Perry Baltz- Williams Baptist

Mike Binns- King

Christian Macias- Williams Baptist

Nathan Breeden - Cumberland

Although not listed I think Sean Kennedy signed with Newberry

Bill Harlow: (from wiki) After leaving OSU, Harlow went on to win three national titles in freestyle wrestling.  He won a silver medal at the 1970 World Wrestling Championships, falling to Soviet Gennady Strakhov in the finals at 90 kg.

      Maybe some of the historians can get on here and help me out, but has anybody from Tennessee ever had as much success in an international style as Boykin? The only other Tennessee native I can remember competing for world team spots is the older Boykin in freestyle and he wasn't nearly as close as Nick has been to making world teams.
