Troll may have to reach into that gootchee purse of his and have some of that Shaw grass out of Dalton after friday night......thinkin Tyner may light that field grass of his up; and it will all look like the sidelines

Booger is kinda hatin it for those young eaglets a little bitty bit.....evidently that Big time Florida hire has apparently walked into those North Red Bank Mountain country club and beauty salons and made some of those kept women mad bout there little babies....Booger would have told him he better find some balance and show some luv to the establishment...evidently that bus that had to quit carryin those kids up and down that mountain was longer than Booger thought.. never thought Booger would see that program with 26 ball players....some good ball players left on that eaglet squad though and maybe they will salvage something......as for some of those upidy grown ups on top of North Red Bank Mountain that frown down on everybody at the bottom of the hill; welcome to world of HS football that most know

Booger just sayin

Everyone is getting payback now on Signal, we are seeing how much busing kids up the mnt really did for them. 49-7 Ram train is on a collision course with Jasper.

It's funny to hear troll complain about privates after all the rule "bending" signal did to earn their 2a title. They were clearly the best 4a team to ever play in 2a

Careful of what you say Omniscience, and others also. History tends to repeat itself. For the better part of SM young football program, it has been very competitive. If the new head ball coach can establish himself and show that he knows how to win, WATCH OUT. Parents that have kids that happened to be blessed with athletic ability, want to give thier son/daughter the best chance of getting a scholarship and a good education at the same time. The way to do that is to send them to schools such as Signal Mountain, Baylor, McCallie, CPA, Brentwood Academy, Notre Dame, and so forth. I can't tell you how many times I've seen an outstanding player come through the valley, who was as good or better as the highly touted player at a school like that who is getting covered in the paper every week and the news every Friday night, but goes unoticed because they came through the program in a down year or because they attend a small school. I could name a couple off the top of my head, that could have played and made a big time contribution to UTC or played at the D1 level. Feel like previous regimes at Marion County and Vic have failed to help some of these kids get their names out and give them a chance to earn a college education while continuing their sports career. Thats why you see MC, SP, SC, Whitwell, and other small schools lose their best talent to those schools. However, I do believe that Tyner will come out on top in this one. Hope both teams come away injury free :thumb:

So its a coincidence that on the year the county stops the bus service that Signal only has 25 players on a team that has looked like a college team the last 5 ? I agree that a lot of talent is wasted coming through the valley but seeing several former Eagles now on N.GA teams says a lot. CCS is about to be the big program other than McCallie and Baylor because they are finally throwing money into the program.

No boog its not a coincidence at all, but are you going to turn down athletes from N. GA if you have access to them? Rules have changed and now SM will have to adapt and overcome. If the mama problem is true, then this old geezer doesn't see better days ahead for the red and black anytime soon. As for CCS, sounds like they are taking the "if you can't beat em, join em" approach. Money talks boog

This old geezer is just sayin
