One more JV game until the showdown...listened to the end of Bruceton /CA on way home from McEwen...sounds like Bruceton is really bad this year. Also sounds like CA may throw it a good bit which is what we need to get ready for the air attack from Wayne Co. Hope next time rain is in the forecast Mustangs practice with wet footballs...could definitely tell we weren't used to handling that wet pigskin

CA has a really good passing game and Im not just saying that. They pass 65% of the time. 3WR sets mostly with a RB beside the QB n backfield n shotgun. They def will prepare u for us. But we run alot more pass plays then they do. And dont pass as much as them. They are WAY better then that 4-3 record. They didnt have #15 the first 3 games in wbich they went 1-2. He rushed for over 1000 and passed for 1350 last yr....hes legit and they got a freshman whos a great WR. Good luck.....nah not really GO CA!!

BigSwo has alot of knowledge about football and west Tn teams. So If he chimes in on our favor then he is welcomed.

 

Anyway. Need to let the 1st team get more time this next week. I don't care if the score is bad but got to get more work before the post season comes. Love seeing the pancakes the blocking has really improved this year. Also when the band gets playing the players looks like they have more swagger. Done go to war with the Mustangs.

Hate to say it, but this one won't be close. I don't think many teams can hang with the likes of Huntingdon and Wayne County. Should be over by the third quarter.
