WC will go to practice this week and treat it like every other week. People say oh you'll kill that team or that game don't even matter, well it will matter if you lose one of them! That is the reason the word upset exists. McEwen will get shown the same respect as every other team WC faces.

I thought you had a good fanbase and enjoyed the concession prices and the funnelcake prices too, thought all McEwen fans for most part were nice people and wish them good luck rest of the season.

 

I still think Wayne County should win big in this one.  Not talking McEwen down or anything but Wayne County got a good team too.

Yes we have a very solid program in Waynesboro. We really turned a corner in the mid 80s and have been a regular in the playoffs since. In fact since 1993 we have made it every yr except '99 & '00.

 

Here is some facts n stats from WC football since the 2001 season...

 

 

128-46   Win % of 74%

 

Avg of 8.6 Wins a season (excludes '15 season)

 

14 Straight playoff appearances(will be 15 after this season is finished)

 

Region 6/District 12 Champions 7 times.

 

Made 2nd Rd or further 10 of 14 seasons.

I did finally a roster or well it was a team picture for McEwen. They have 30-32 players. I emailed the school ao hopefully ill get a complete roster by Monday or Tuesday.

McEwen runs the veer or something close to it...fb dive or QB keep with option to pitch...they weren't very good at it...we started pulling starters after the 1st quarter and the JV and freshman finished the 2nd half...stay healthy Wayne Co and keep the QB out of trouble...want everyone full go when we invade Waynesboro
