How does District 1 and 2 look this year???

 

You always have Hampton but what does it look like and who returns for all these teams???

 

Are there any studs in this region this year???

I hear Unaka and N Greene has picked up transfers that may make them more competitive.

 

Hampton's post may be the physically strongest in quiet a while...Guard play will be the same as last season for the most part.

I'd say 3 or 4 starters are in football right now...may be January before we know just how good this unit will be

Hamptons probably the favorite. Unaka returns a lot and got the transfer, they have potential. North Greene got a transfer from France. Cloudland is the only team I've seen to this point and they need to work on defense, they have a ways to go on that end of the floor. No idea about The rest.

Cloudland needs a coach,those kids have no respect for Harrison.

and over 30 fouls of Cloudland. Having that many fails and still win by 20 is not bad.

district 2 will be a little better comp for 1 this year but still not ready for the top  teams in district 1. Cosby graduated 6 good players and has a ton to replace however we have a very talented Sophomore class. May be a year away from being very good again. Northview could win district 2 this year ending Cosby's run of like 6 or 7 in a row. I think Berean , and Hancock should be pretty good too. Id guess Hampton will still be on top of district 1....I wonder how many of Hamptons starting 5 play football?

Agreed 29. I like Ole Harrison but you are right they don't respect him as a coach in my opinion. But who do you replace him with? I think he was kinda threw into that position to begin with. Just asking

Yep I like him,just don't think he has control of the team at times. good win the other night but I know nothing about west Greene.nope I'm pretty sure he asked for the job,just don't think he's ready yet he maybe ready for jr varsity or maybe jr high, I saw him get out coached a number of times last year.with the new administration up there not sure who would want to be up there,so I'm not sure who they would even try to get,I don't think there's too many to choose from in the school right now.on a positive note talked to a former coach and he told me that P. Benfield could be one of the best to ever come out of Cloudland.

Honestly? I'd say their top 5 or 6 are in football..............Jones, McClain, Norris, Wiltshire and Wyatt Lyons are all on the field.....That's most likely your 3 guards and two post players...Gonna be deep in the season before they are basketball ready because of playing football....I HOPE!!
