Oneida basketball has the same problem as does wartburg in football and it starts at the top administration don't care about basketball at Oneida same as football at wartburg and it shows as long as football is winning at Oneida everything is OK and as long as basketball is winning at wartburg everything's ok

probably some truth to both of those... But the bigger factor is talent, or lack thereof, at both places in each sport right now. It happens in cycles at smaller schools especially. Oneida will bounce back... Now wburg rarely has winning seasons in football... So, I don't know if that will change much. .500 is a banner football season there. But yes, talent is very low even for wburg right now.

No coach in the world can win if they don't have talent.

All reports I ever heard pointed to the fact that he was given more than his share of chances to clean up his language...and didn't.  Didn't he even cuss out the fans at Wartburg one year?

You have got to be kidding.  From reports I have heard, it was all political.  But this topic isn't about Coach Yaden.  It's about the team this year and from what I have seen, the coach has no idea what he is doing.  IMO they got just what they asked for.

Coach Yaden wouldn't win with the talent they have. You could put any coach you want to there and they probably only finish 4th or 5th in the district.

Talent is not the problem. I'm not saying it's just coaching, but it's not from a lack of talent. They have some size, they have ball handling and they have shooters. Defense is horrible, rebounding is horrible. They have talent, but it is not being utilized.
