Private vs Publics in Football Finals

I would ask for you to act like you've been here (the finals) before but I guess you can't. Some people just don't know how to handle success. This type of chest thumping and belittling is a big part of the complete dislike of private schools.

If I were him I would keep my Privates from hanging out in public!

Starting 2017 they will likely get a steady dose of reality. They will be looking at schools like FRA, DCA, Boyd, Notre Dame, Grace, friendship, TCA ect every week. You won't out talent that group every week I can promise you that.

Slicer, you're a private school guy and we all get along with you, but this guy from NCS is acting ridiculous. You can definitely tell they don't know how to handle success yet. We have 5 gold balls and 6 silver ones, but you don't see me on here talking like this guy does. Crazy talk. He thinks we're imbreds. LMBO

Talent? D@$! right, we have it, and aint gonna apologize for it. After all, someone has to have it, right? Is that an excuse for all of these terribly out of shape degenerate looking football teams that take the field on Friday nights? There aint another private school in 1A or D2 1A ball that can stay on the field with us! Your point is, as usual, pointless. BTW, how did those bold predictions about Huntingdon being more physical than we are go for ya? The rules change after next year. If all the non working, excuse making whiny butts dont want to play next year thats up to them. I got news for ya, that D2 1A division has a lot of flab too. They will be wishing we had stayed in 1A. It aint the division that makes a team, it is the coaches and the boys who make it.

You sound like a pissed off teenager. These posts are embarrassing. Represent your school in a respectful manner without dogging everyone else.

    • Both places Woods has been at have gotten better pretty quickly after his arrival. If you can win consistently in Metro while having to fend off the vultures from picking your roster clean, your doing something right
    • They typically have a handful of black kids (nothing at all wrong with that, it’s great), but these past few years both sides of the ball have been primarily black kids. Again, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that, in general, all I’m saying is that the past few seasons or so, the teams demographics just doesn’t match what it has been, historically speaking. And that didn’t start, until Keith got there. That’s all I’m saying. Rather odd how that just starts magically happening ever since he got there.
    • I have always known Clinton and the football team to be diverse. Not saying its like Knox but I would say more so than you're leading onto. Maybe more kids are wanting to play for a minority coach like that OL that commityed to Colorado over UT due to Deion "looking like him"- Jordan Seaton
    • It’s just the facts. Not sure how else to put it.
    • As a parent, this was always my worst nightmare.  I take it for granted every time I get in the car and took it for granted most of the time when one of my sons was on the wrestling mat.  Sometimes things are not "going to be fine". Jacob was wrestling in a Greco match at Iron Man when he was thrown.  He landed on his head and neck and shattered his C6 and C7.  His spinal cord was offset which is not good. He is currently at Vanderbilt Childrens in Nashville and has undergone a big surgery to brace his neck with pins and screws and realign his spinal cord, but damage has been done.  He is currently not able to move his legs or control his fingers.  I visited him yesterday and this young man has a long row to hoe. I'm asking the wrestling community here in TN to lift his family up in prayer and come together to help.  He will likely have to go to Shephard Center in Atlanta which is going to require his mom and dad to take off work, travel, eat out, etc. Jacob does have some feeling in his lower extremities, so we are praying he will be able to recover.  Time will tell and God is in control. If you are unable to donate $5-10, please offer up prayers for Jacob to heal completely and for patience and strength for his parents as they are no doubt dealing with a worst nightmare. GO FUND ME for JACOB   gofund.me/22e00da8 Thanks, Matt Sells - Blackman Wrestling
