Forrest could have another pretty good football team. The problem for them is being paired with region 3 again.

Fear the Roadrunner, I'll go out on a limb and say Marion Co faces A E in the 4th round.I Won;t be the least shocked if A E represents the East.

I thought you maybe lost a couple of linemen as well? Also 12 started against us on defense, but that was week 4 so maybe he isn't starting now. You're right though, Marion should be loaded overall again next season.

Yeah 12 started on d i think, at least some. If not he played a bunch. 68 starts at lt on offense, 76 is also a senior, he started to start the season.

Forrest losing the lineman will hurt them next year. No way they can be as physical next year.  Will have to learn to pass the ball some as they will not be able to run over everyone next year.

Forrest will be just fine next year up front. They were pretty much two deep with not much drop off at every spot. As far as physicality, you can't replace a Boone Sweeney, but the JV O-line was very physical from what I saw.

After seeing Saturday's final, Forrest has just a monumental climb to get to those team's level. It will take a commitment I'm honestly not quite sure the program is ready for. There just might be too much complacency to win Region 3 and win a playoff game. There's a reason Forrest has never advanced to the 3rd round. It takes a different level of commitment. Making an 85 on a test ain't that difficult. Making a 95 takes 10x the work. Might never happen.

What sort of a commitment are you talking about? From what I've seen, this coaching staff is as committed as any in the state. The players seem bought in as well. So I guess I'm curious as to what you are referring to?

For the record, the level of athlete that Trezevant has isn't walking through the doors of Forrest anytime soon. That's called genetics, not commitment.
