The Irish will graduate 19 some odd seniors in May and will field a very young team in the Fall. A lot of the young guys that will be filling roles played on the 2014 team due to injuries so we will see how they fare this go around. Coach Clark is entering his sixth season and is already one of the longest tenured coaches ever in HC football so the word "program" comes up; with that you have to get to a point where you don't rebuild every other year but rather reload every year. Can he put together a playoff team in 2016?

Eagle, I hope to see your boys pick up right where they left off. Thing about winning is its contagious, once a team has tasted success they dont wanna lose it

The thing about winning is you have to play the teams on your schedule. Houston played a VERY weak schedule last yesr, but won the game's they could win. I'd say next year will be about the same. If the teams they play are weak, they will make another playoff run.

Yes their schedule was very weak but after a 2-8,1-9 year I would not expect them to schedule Alcoa..

I'm glad to see Houston Co. doing a lot better in football. Just a very few years ago, success was considered 1-9 if they defeated Stewart Co. Until they get placed in another region, they will have to fight for 4th place every year they have a chance.

Houston lost several and Clarksville academy is going to be better. They have a really good kid to play qb this year as a sophomore. He transferred from Lafayette last year. I saw him up close being from trousdale and I'm telling you he is legit. If they have any talent around him CA will be better this year. Neither team can compete with Huntindon or Wayne from that region and first round bounce in the playoffs is all that can be expected when they will end up getting Ncs or trousdale in the first round

I seen the kid play as a freshman at Huntingdon last year. He's the real deal. A little undersized, but expected as a freshman.
