Why no props for Halls.............this team is destroying everyone they play for the most part. Might be the best team in Single A in West TN, might not be ether...just saying Halls ain't n Joke.......always be mindful this is Single A as well, which is the lowest level of competition.......just saying that because I've seen how fans on here can make teams larger than life....I'e even seen fans here sometimes say some of these single A teams are as good as the AAA teams in Memphis, forrealz  LOL  fans just like to  keep it real n stuff i guess...........anyway, Halls is a team i would be discussing as a Single A team to contend and make deep post season run..but again who knows. My money is on Mitchel in the end.

I wanted to see them at Ripley but i chose to stay and watch Malik Monk vs Memphis East. Maybe i can catch them soon. Heard they are impressive

I saw film and they are not good, THEY ARE VERY GOOD.  I would be concerned about their schedule. I believe that the best team plays against the best competition. I always made sure that Mitchell played in at least 1 out of town tournament. I  wanted the coaches and players to experience staying in a hotel, planning meals and playing 3 days in a row. That prepares you for the state.

I saw film and they are not good, THEY ARE VERY GOOD.  I would be concerned about their schedule. I believe that the best team plays against the best competition. I always made sure that Mitchell played in at least 1 out of town tournament. I  wanted the coaches and players to experience staying in a hotel, planning meals and playing 3 days in a row. That prepares you for the state.

What I love most about them is that they remain humble throughout all the buzz around them. They work and train hard as a team. When there isn't a game going on we're in the gym training. And when I say train I really mean train. Strength and conditioning, Cardio, drills to improve their agility, speed, quickness, stamina, footwork and balance. Working on things such as shooting comes later. They literally take no days off. They're passionate about the game and more hungry than any group of high school kids I've seen as a whole. After blowing people out we didn't get any credit. Beating Humbolt the 1st time in Humbolt by 20, still didn't get any credit. Then beating UC by 8 and still no credit. On top of that I thought once we beat Ripley in Ripley that people would get off the "Halls doesn't play anybody" trip but obviously that's not even good enough in which if you missed that you missed out on the best game in the state. That game was a sub state atmosphere. Sold out gym, 2000 plus people were in attendance to see it. The game was so epic they televised it a couple of days later. And our boys showed up and played well. So I say the heck with credit cause it's clear they won't get any. Just know when nobody believes in you and wants to give you credit even when you've earned it then you have a point to prove. They all play with a chip on their shoulder and they do it as a team. This is offensively the best team to ever come through Halls. Also these kids have played AAU together for years so they're use to traveling, staying in hotels, meal prepping, playing 3 days in a row, and competing against some the toughest competition across the country. As long as they keep playing team ball they will go far...

How much credit do you want? You are now sounding like UC fans. Want us to crown you all the best team ever? Halls is good but they have flaws like EVERY OTHER TEAM.   Their schedule is not that strong. Will that keep tem from winning the state? I don't know. They have a great chance to win it all. East is the best team I ave seen in the state this year. They have flaws also. Mitchell has on back to back titles, won over 60 strait games in 1A and we are still number 2 behind Halls. I have never said we be number 1. I only stated if Halls had our schedule they would not be undefeated. Enjoy the ride and be objective.

Halls is the real deal!  You don't hear a lot of talk on Coach T about them because most likely the fans in Halls don't know about CoachT.  Anyone that has seen this team play, knows they can play.  Trust Galilee. He knows basketball and a good team when he sees it. I agree with him on the out of town routine.  I think Halls plays its final game(s) of the season in the Boro!

I never said we didn't have flaws and I wouldn't disagree with you as far as having Mitchell's schedule and not being undefeated. Of course we wouldn't. And at the end of the day Mitchell is Memphis. You can't compare the 2. It's Memphis. Yall will have talent for years and years to come. Halls has a population of 2200 people. We might have 2 kids per grade who even cares for basketball. Mitchell doesn't have that problem. You're suppose to have the schedule you have, Memphis is your area and all schools are pretty good. But thats another discussion. We're beating the teams in our area as well as some surrounding. Can we lose? Of course we can and I'm sure we will. So how much credit do i want? None... I'm not the one who made the post... So evidently I'm not the only one who see's that no one is talking about Halls the way people have praised/talked about other teams in the past on these message boards. The kids notice it too cause they check on here. But I tell them just keep doing what you're doing. Don't worry about the credit. Just play ball. But you're alright in my book Galilee. You made good points. I would definitely like to see our boys play higher ranked teams. It only helps them in the long run. I would love to see a Mitchell vs Halls championship game. And a good opinion.  The reason noone is talking about Halls is in your post.  2200 people in the town and fans from other schools don't want to give you credit because it does nothing for them.
