Debatable. He inherited a situation at TC that any coach could win at. Coaches of his supposed stature don't throw a hissy fit like he did after the Maryville game. Thats something Thomas McDaniel would have never done. As a program builder at the 6A level, Creasy has a long way to go

 

He went just as far as McDaniel did with a lot fewer college players and won the region. How does he have a long way to go, when he won supposedly the best region in the state easily and his only regular season loss was to Hoover? I am also a McDaniel fan, but is it possible that you are a little bitter? Jacoby Stevens was quoted as saying Creasy is the best coach he ever played for. What happened after the Maryville game?

It is also disrespectful saying that any coach could have won in that situation at TC. A lot of hard work went into that. One would think that any coach could have won championships succeeding Rankin at Riverdale.

Definitely wouldnt have used the rankin at Riverdale example. He knew along with everyone else when they opened Blackman High school in 2000 and rezoned Riverdales zone that the cupboard was going to run dry and got out and went to Alcoa at the right time. Now blackman is the better of the 2 team

Good point, I'm just saying what he did at TC is impressive even with talent and resources.
