2016 Region 7 - 5A

Here’s where we stand after two weeks.

 

Brentwood (1-1)

   -Looks strong after a close game against Independence and a big win over Ravenwood.

 

Centennial (1-1)

   -Not last year’s team but still impressive and will compete for District.

 

Henry Co.  (0-1)

   -Jury’s still out, but still in the top 3 (which are head and shoulders above the rest).

 

Clarksville (1-1)

   -Still on top in the City, but most likely not ready to compete with top 3.

 

Dickson Co. (1-1)

   -This is the wild card team. Good on offense, but may be lacking on defense.

 

North East (1-1)

   -Who knows what’s going on over there?

 

Rossview (0-2)

   -Tough road ahead. They will compete in every game, but may only win 2 this year.

 

West Creek (0-2)

   -Still a work in progress.

Thanks, but what is the deal with HC and Houston?  I guess the game was stopped because of weather and didn't start back up later, is that right?  Who was the home team?  Isn't it there decision when to re-start the game?  This is turning out to be a mess state-wide.

I agree with these, but I'm not sure Clarksville has a gimme game all year. Sure they're 1-1, but they lost to a bad Station Camp team handily. The same Station Camp team that lost 45-7 last week to Wilson Central.

 

There's no way I would pick them in the top 4 of the district.

I agree. If it wasn't for Kenwood shooting themselves in the foot, they probably would be 0-2. I think they will beat West Creek, but it could get ugly after that.
