If Kirkendoll is out for a the sp game that's a huge huge loss

Regardless of what a lot of us might think. There are more important fish to fry than the MC vs SP game. Marion is a veteran team. Many of those kids have played in multiple state title games. Marion County will be fine, but this is going to be a much, much better game than the past several have been. Edited by TheAmbassador

This will be a game in the 4th quarter! Wait for it. Jasper's first test will be this week. Hope Alex is ok. Really good kid! Edited by powerp

Yes it is.. but not the difference in this game! No doubt it will play in SP favor, but not the difference maker! The Sophomore filling in is very good as well. Kirkendol will not miss the SP game anyway.. lol.. That boy would probably play with a broken leg if he could. Main thing is he was not seriously injured. He's a stud, he will be back sooner than you think.

I agree with you on this one Bassy! They look pretty darn good! And did I mention they have 20+ seniors? How is that even possible at the 2A level?? Last year Tyner with 20+ now Meigs. The Tyner deal was due to inner city options, I wouldn't imagine Meigs has that issue? Edited by Astimeexpires01

Hi everyone! My name is Lightning McQueen. I am a very famous race car. I will be touring the area very soon and I am looking to make some stops in the Chattanooga area.  I am really excited about taking some practice laps around your famous South Pittsburg Speedway before heading down to Boyd Speedway in Ringgold. Has anyone seen my friends Mater, Luigi, Sarge, Sally, Ramone, Flo, Guido, or Fillmore? I need to find them.  I will see everyone real soon.

I'm not saying anyone was "recruited." I made a statement for Sequatchie to make sure and keep SP on the schedule in future years. They are enjoying a good year, but we will enjoy some in the future. He asked if we were having "another dozen" next year coming. I responded by telling him in a nice way. The young guys coming up to my knowledge are SP kids and have been together for a very long time.

I will say it again and probably several more times this year when our neighbors start whining about recruits. " "I do not care how the sausage is made, i only care how it taste on a biscuit".

I agree power p with seeing how they do when someone stacks the box on mc.

As of right now sp looks to be better passing team than running. I do think mc line and LB's will get pressure on sp qb as,well. Still think mc wins by 2 td. Score late in the 4th to win it

That means it will be a good ball game then. I've maintained since last year that this game would be much, much closer this season.

      QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
