With all due respect to the teams that got first place votes, the 9 AP members (mostly sports writers) who did not vote Trezevant #1 don't have a clue.

Those ratings are funny because Austin East will be playing for the 2A State Championship and i think they'll win it.

AE has not impressed me enough to even think they would beat Trezevant. They beat a bellow avg 3a team in Scott co. 26 to 0 and got beat by an avg. 5a team in Knox Halls. Halls is not on the same level is Trezevant

AE aint beating Trez or anyone from Region 3 (Marion, Boyd, Tyner). Period.

I knew some people was going to jump on the fact that Trezevant lost but I didnt think it would be the AP voters. Apparently they dont know football. Southaven is a 6A Ms. school that they lost by one point to only because of the lack of a kicking game. I didnt see anything to make them drop in a 2A poll, Actually I was impressed by what I saw by adjustments of the coaching staff and the determination I seen. Its easy to rest on a championship but these boys want another!!!
