Brentwood/Ensworth vs Trinity 2017-18

Hello,

 

Can anyone confirm if these two teams will renew their contracts with Trinity for the 2017-18 seasons?

From what I hear there is no plans on the Tennessee side to cancel the series. I would be highly disappointed if they both did not renew. Both schools have a hard enough time finding games and the drive to Louisville is nice. The atmosphere at Trinity and the team's Trintiy fields year end and year out is exceptional . BA , Ensworh and MBA for that matter would have a hard time filling that early slot with a team close by who could stack up against the rocks.

 

It's been a frustrating series's as a BA fan but I enjoy the games because if you bring anything but your very best its a tall challenge to go head to head with the rocks. I do believe playing them early on has benefited BA the last 4 years and the games are more competitive than the 2011 game.

 

I'll let you know it I hear anything concrete but from what I gather it' works out well for both sides and all schools have been happy with the series.

I had heard rumors BA might drop but Ensworth would renew. BA would drop because, and this isn't confirmed or anything, but they were upset with the number of boys Trinity could pull vs the number BA pulls from. Seems silly but that was a rumor I heard. I enjoy both these games year in and year out so I hope they stay!

No that's not it - three are a few schools in our league that are all boys and much bigger than BA - that has nothing to do with it. Ensworth and BA are about the same size 450 ish coed--/If anything it may be a shift in our divisions down here next year or mixing up the schedule but from what I hear they are interested in keeping Trintiy on schedule.

none that i am aware of at the moment.. it will probably be known in offseason if the 2 teams play anyomore

Yeah I think a lot of teams are waiting for the classifications to become final before they start finalizing game contracts.

Trinity 11, I have an old friend at Trinity that indicated that you guys may be looking to go to OhIo or Alabama to replace the series. He said that other than one hiccup against Ensworth, it has been business as usual against Tennessee teams. You know any thing on this ?

I haven't heard that at all. Trinity has made it clear, though I really dislike it, that they do not want to travel more than 4 hours away. I've heard were picking up Moeller though.
