pujo
Has anyone out there figured out where the classes are going to be set number wise and how the regions in 1A and 2A will go? From what I've seen give or take a little, Cosby will be the biggest 1a with around 390 kids.

pujo
I heard Trousdale Co at 388. Who knows? Teams on the border could go either way,for 90 percent ,its pretty cut and dried. Teams wanting to move up and how many privates move out is really still up in the air. Either way.its gonna be a better system.
TheAmbassador
According to the main football board today a team in Memphis is projected to be the largest 1A school. Their enrollment came in and was considerably lower than previous thought. Indian has Trousdale listed as the smallest 2A team. Because they were floated around as the biggest 1A team. I highly doubt they got enough new kids to nearly jump 2 classifications.
Guest hevyrevy1611
How long will this new arrangement be for? Current one was only two years. Will it still be 8 Regions with top 4 in playoffs (I like that system)? Just diff schools in each one? Or 16 Regions with top two qualifying? Only reason we are doing this again after 2 years is the new rules. It very well could happen again.
Guest hevyrevy1611
Well maybe this new arrangement won't have some schools travelling so far to required regional games. It's crazy distances for some schools. But.. it is what it is. Whacha gonna do but buckle up & do your best with what's set before you? ecu
The distances between WC, Cwood and PC are all within 30 miles, but for the other region games they are two hour drives or better to HC, HHS, Mcewn, Bruceton and Clarksville Acad It is one game on a Friday night! People make to big a deal of travel in football. And you won't have to go to all of them in one year.
