White County didn't shoot well tonight but cruised to a 77-44 victory over Ootlewah tonight.

What happened to Pistol?

She didn't show up for the game Tuesday night. Since she is ALWAYS at White County games some went looking for her. She was found in her bed deceased. Apparently she had a heart attack. This is a great loss for White County. She was the best at what she did and can't be replaced. She will be missed by thousands.

I was sure sorry to hear of her passing 85 and 90.  I didn't know her personally but heard alot about her and she was a great advocate for White County sports. Always enjoyed reading her articles.

Fitting that her funeral services will be at WCHS. All are encouraged to dress casual and wear maroon and gray. That's the way she would have wanted it. RIP Pistol.

White County was up on a very good CAK(state semifinalist last year) team by 18 at the half, but CAK never gave up and WC held on to win 81-73.

 

Carter (29) and Whited (32) combined for 61 points.

White County lost tonight at Ootlewah. We must have overlooked them after beating them by 30 just days ago. That's the first REGULAR season game WC has lost since February of 2015(22 months ago).
