Riverside host Waverly for Region Title

I've heard the QB is out. This will change the game a lot. Waverly by 4 or 5 TD's. What sucks is Waverly will have a tougher match up in the 1st Rd than the 2nd or 3rd place teams because of the way McKenzie struggled in the middle part of the season.

I hope the kid plays and that he is ok. I was on the parsons side during the game last week look liked his injury was right above his right hip. We will talk about Mckenzie next week I dont think parsons played well at all against them they had busted coverage and couldnt stop the run and also ran the same two plays over and over again. Waverly will show up and prove they are the #1 in the region bet that.

Agreed McKenzie is gonna be the toughest in 2-4. Waverly will have to step it up a notch if they play them first round. Got to beat riverside first. I bet the QB will play. if Waverly shows it's Waverly by at least 4 td. Don't think riverside d matches up against our offense. Our d will take care of their part

Interesting that the 2nd place and 3rd place team in Region 6 beat the stew out of McKenzie! I guess McKenzie just had an off night both nights.

QB is definitely out. I heard there going back to ole double wing offense. Rumor going around in Parsons.

Riverside is definitely better than they was last year but they are not at the same level as Waverly and the coaching staff at Waverly do wonderful job also. I just don't see it going any other way. I might be wrong but I dont

Give the ball to 45 and let him work!

    • Congratulations to Coach Runyon. He seemed to do a good job when I watched his teams play. He didn't coach like he was ready to retire. With that being said... both coaching positions in the same district open... which one of these jobs is the best job and why?  also, it is a coincidence that they both leave at the same time...

    • good points. I guess the question is do the coaches need to be out of the classroom and get paid for just coaching. maybe move the coaching jobs to just coaching and no teaching. that would open up the coaching ranks to some good coaches that are not qualified to teach. Then you could do contracts and pay them whatever you want to pay them. move the positions to contracts.  Just like college. Thoughts?
    • It's not just DB, I don't think any of the NET big schools will ever be relevant in football.      Meaning in the playoffs.....
