Huntland knocked off Eagleville for the second time, as they get more experience,they could be hard to handle.

Huntland at MTCS tonight with a lot on the line. A Huntland win and they are still in the hunt for first place in 9A. An MTCS win clinches at least a tie for first in the district.

Can anybody tell me about community and how they play ?

They are decently sized. Have a 6'5" post and a couple other bigs that play some. Lost 2 really good athletes last year. You can never really judge them by their record because come tournament time they seem to play their best basketball. They played a decently tough non-district schedule it seems. Lost in region semi last year to Nashville Christian but beat MTCS in district semis and I believe they are 3rd or 4th in the district this year. A team you really don't wanna play usually in the tournament especially if they are the lower seed. They don't really play a specific style just depends on the match up it seems the games I have seen in the past. They can play decently fast or can walk it up and play a slower pace. They are fun to watch in the district tournament.

Well White House makes the long trip to Community tonight . No less its senior night and the girls are displaying their banner for state last year . Going to be a late night getting back . Now to the game . I believe Community jumping to AA next year so will want to prove that they can play . Can the White House boys stay focused and make this a business trip and not a joyride . White House is playing some of their best basketball right now will hopefully show up and be an entertaining game . Looks like is a different person every night scoring with Jackson for Community, I think the style of the game will probably determine who wins . Can't wait .

I think there will be some upsets. That's what makes this tournament worth the 5 bucks every night on the boys and girls side. If you like basketball this tournament over the last several years on both sides has been a lot of fun. I don't think the 1 and 2 seed in this tournament has both made the finals the last several years. I may be wrong my memory isn't what it use to be.

Hey don't mean to keep crashing your thread . Did community just play thst way the other night to keep from anyone in the district from scouting them or do they play that way but most teams in district won't play with them thst way . , just wondering

My best guess is it was senior night and was letting the kids have a little more freedoms. Although they have scored in the 80's a few times this year looking at scores. Games I have seen especially in the tournament they try and play the style that is most effective against their opponent. Last year was a little slower because they were very big and athletic in the post.
