OAK RIDGE Lady Wildcats 2016 - 17

There is a folder for the boys so we need one for the 2016 Class AAA State Runner-up Oak Ridge Lady Wildcats.

 

Can the Lady Cats make it back to the Boro? If they can have they improved enough to beat a LOADED Riverdale squad? .

Don't know how the w-L record will be, but i'll bet the girls will be fun to watch. Can't wait!

The girls had a dominating victory over CAK tonight 57-32 and it wasn't really that close.  They are just picking up where they left off last year.  Yes, they are very fun to watch!

According too the schedule on Coacht, the Lady Cats play Hamilton Heights (Chattanooga) this Saturday. The Lady Hawks are coached by a friend of mine. I gave Coach Hunt a copy of Coach Jill Prudden's book several years ago and she said it was an amazing book. The Lady Hawks are loaded with talent, many players are ranked in Top 50 polls and receiving college scholarships. The team is ranked # 19 by USA Today. My favorite player is Treasure Hunt since I knew her when she was in elementary school. I also got a kick out of asking Coach Hunt if she had a child named Easter Egg.   In another tread, a Bradley Central fan has posted the Bearettes have beaten Hamilton Heights. No other details were given.

Montini, Lombard (IL)  defeated Bolingbrook 45 - 52. Joliet Central was trounced by the Lady Raiders 74 - 19. BHS is 1 - 1.

 

Their roster on the school's web site show 3 players 5 '11" and several 6'2" and one 6'11" Hopefully our full court pressure will negate their size advantage.
