I did some digging. Goodpasture is also on the schedule. They are still in need of one game.

I heard we had a full schedule.  If not I could roll with 9 games this season if we can picked up NorthJackson the following 2 yrs.

Correct. If I'm not mistaken we haven't really scheduled spring scrimmages the past few yrs. We do the practice under the lights on May 12th. Been pretty popular the past few yrs too.

A neutral site sounds good in principle, but where and under what circumstances? I can't imagine MTSU just agreeing two set aside to Friday nights that far out.

The game would have been at Oakland HS more than likely.

Saturday? I have never known of South Pittsburg to play games on Saturday. The teams here in the Valley play little league games on Saturday afternoons and nights. That wouldn't be good for our community. It would force parents and supporters to make a choice. A 3 hour bus ride one time for each team doesn't seem like it would be a big deal. Saturday? I have never known of South Pittsburg to play games on Saturday. The teams here in the Valley play little league games on Saturday afternoons and nights. That wouldn't be good for our community. It would force parents and supporters to make a choice. A 3 hour bus ride one time for each team doesn't seem like it would be a big deal.

Every community's little league program plays football on Saturdays. It's not just an SP thing. That has never stopped others from playing on Saturday if the situation called for it. It's not a preference and I get that. It is a solution for a team that has a problem with finding a tenth game. It's also against a quality opposition.

I don't post much but here is the deal on this one. The deal is on the table. @SP in 2017 and @Waverly in 2018. SP told Waverly they would come play at whatever time they wanted to play in 2018. SP also told them they would play this year's game at 7:30 or 8:00 cst if they needed too to help out Waverly due to bussing. This would give each team 5 home games the next two seasons. You're right about little league. That would be a bad situation for parents that have a kid playing in both. I hope that Saturday stuff doesn't happen. That would be awful.

What kind of mess is this? I garuntee you aint scheduled a spring training game cause that Childress man has had you Jasperlites on probation. If he finds out you had a game when that Mathis man or the SOS was supposed to be on probation he will be real mad. You think im joking but im not.

Are you joking? I garuntee you the SEC boys play on Saturday not high school boys. Grider better not schedule our boys on Saturday. This is a bunch of mess. You think im joking but im not.
