Shout out to the Lions and their awesome fans. What a way to put an exclamation point on the end of a freak of a season. You weathered the early storm and took back control in route to one of the most dominating victories in TSSAA Championship history. It is an extra good feeling to know that we have the toughest region in 1A and that this area knows how to raise up Champions. This one is for you Lions. You deserve it and you absolutely earned it. I couldn't be any prouder if it had been UC winning today. Thank you for bringing the Gold Ball back to our region.

2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 - 4 champs in 4 years.  Just few years before that ?2011 WC, last year NCS - all considered West TN, just not in NW TN where we all are about 20 minutes apart.  Outstanding and impressive championship game and year.  congrats to Dresden.

This region is a gem. We all make each other better by raising the bar for the whole region. Some of those guys said we didn't play anyone all year... LOL. Region 7 is the SEC of hs football.
