If it is basically a deal, why not get him in there as quick as possible? I am sure there are some regulations on having the job posted for a certain amount of time, but the longer they push back the inevitable the less time he has to implement his changes and the less time kids have to learn and adapt. Is there a chance at all for anyone else? And with the rumors of Roane County merging schools, is there a chance kids will be transferring to Loudon?

No disrespect to Loudon fans, but even if Harig was rehired, it's going to take some time to build that program back up. I know people who live in loudon and they tell me their is almost no talent down there right now so whoever the next Coach is will have a fairly bear cupboard. I highly doubt Harig goes back there because he left when he saw the ship was sinking, doubt he will want to build another ship.

Seems like the chatter on this thread has slowed to a halt. Does that mean Harig is staying at BHS. If he is at BHS, that means he expects to be the HC there in the near future!

Interviews start after spring break! Hopefully these will be quick and get done soon!! If Harig wants the job they better hire him NOW!!!!!!

They basically wasted a month? The job has been open for about a month and no interviews have been done yet? Not sure the thinking behind that one. Every minute counts when it comes to preparing kids. If Harig doesn't get it, is there anyone else they are talking about getting it anyone that might be interested? Does anyone know if any kids have recently transferred from Loudon to another school because of their current situation?

Even if Harig is hired again, Loudon fans need not expect him to turn them around over night. Whoever takes this job is in for at least a 2 year rebuild. People down there tell me the talent is sparse. Lenior City is probably getting some along with Greenback because kids want to play for Bigger/Better teams. Hopefully Loudon can get back to what they once were, but there will be a long road ahead.

      QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid..
