The year they had Humboldt & Manasas playing the first game which was the best two teams! Manasas went on to blow the next two teams out by 30 point including the championship game!

TSSAA cant afford Two memphis teams in the finals they need the travel support of east and middle to support the 3 day event. If you have all memphis left after day 1 you lose money big time.

 

We played Mitchell there two years ago and we out numbered their fans 8-1 easy

Teams from the same district cannot be on the same side of the bracket. But other than that, it is advertised as a blind draw, yes.

Yes it is but 2 teams from same region are placed in oposite brackets.

Honestly if it's done legally, wouldn't you pull your twin 6-7 sons out of a school if you feel the coach is only preaching run and gun philosophy and not expanding your kids IQ?

Not just advertised, it's truly a blind draw. In the past it has been done with the "bingo" system...ping pong balls numbered with the teams being assigned a corresponding number, and the "exception" being that region opponents are placed on opposing sides of the bracket. You can watch on the TSSAA website (could in the past) unless they choose not to upload this year.
