Nothing too shocking here really. Dayne has been with Wave Wrestling from the start and is focused on wrestling so CBHS is the obvious choice. His older brother Tate was also a Wave Wrestling product but ended up at Bolton for a few reasons, particularly because he wanted to play baseball as well and that would have been tough for him at CBHS.

what do we have now 100+ in their feeder now. Fun years ahead for Papa Bear!!

If not for having 300 kids on the team HCWC wouldn't score the number of points they always do. Truthfully, TNAAU Region 1 had the most champions and has closed the gap considerably with more champions than the other Regions.

Bradley will be just fine though, there's a reason they have 25-26 titles and everyone else is still chasing.

I agree with most but I also know that the reason Bradley has most of them was their kids club hot 200 plus involved for years. Al Morris senior was a catalyst for many of those. Losing him has hurt them and their numbers have begun to decline. I'm not ever sold on any kid being good or bad at a young age until they grow and get into high school you never know. Usually at a young age you're smaller kids are more coordinated. Wrestling is the sport where you can out work a better natural athlete. I remember going to kids tourneys in Georgia and staying late into the night watching the old Bradley kids club and leaving and they still had kids wrestling. Now it seems you have more skill less numbers in certain clubs Higher Calling doesn't have just Cleveland kids in it. Their middle school team is where most of their kids start showing real promise. Ocoee and Lake forest are both not as strong as they had been in the past. I think that's where Bradley will have to catch up. When LFs Belcher stepped down a few years back it started showing. Bradley had several studs these last few years. I don't see how they can over come losing that many good wrestlers this time with what's in the pipe line. Might take a few years before they will be were they have been. In the mean while the rest of the state keeps coming. I like the upper east tn programs and what I've seen from them. To me Middle TN with the population and financial support I see in other sports is a puzzle why they haven't won more team states in wrestling. Is it too many schools cause they are mostly large AAA schools and some A. Individuals seem they do well. Teams not do much. Maybe this is their chance to overtake the east. Who knows.

I love this Hot bed of the SE!! In the Chattanooga area... wrestlers are much more recognized by peers, family, coaches of all sports, teachers, adminstration, community boosters, and media all around including Cleveland and North GA. Heck, there's more in attendance in some single dual matches than basketball games and that's the way it's been for 40 years in this traditionally strong area...

That's why I applaud the likes of PF, Alcoa, greenback at one time, Halls, Gibbs, several Blount county area schools, the Hill, DB, Tennessee high, Greenville, Tullahoma, Blackman, Stewart's Creek, Mt Juliet, Cookeville, Wilson Central, Beech, Clarksville, Franklin, Indy, Summit, Greenbriar, page, eagleville, The Bros and of course the Simpsons of Arlington, Ryan and MBA.

Keeping your pipeline committed to the area HS may be a part of the challenge for some coaches in Rutherford, Wilson and Williamson Co schools. Not sure about the Clarksville area or toward region eight of late.

    • hey goat! how’s monterey looking this year?!
    • several people actually. they said “snoball, do you know who railbird81 is on coacht?” I said, “never heard of her.” they said, “you ought to check it out they’re getting fired up on there like the old days.” well, you can imagine my disappointment when I came here expecting sharp, witty banter and all i found was more akin to toddlers slap fighting. and what looks like 1 guy/gal talking to themselves with multiple accounts.
    • Shopping? His family is loaded and he's 6'6 I'm pretty sure he could start anywhere in upper East TN,So no need to shop. Word is Witten got caught trying to work him out on campus and some 7 on 7 while playing athletics for Sullivan East. Word got around pretty quick and Someone turned them into TSSAA.
    • Quick update on Jacob -  Jacob celebrated his 16th birthday at Vanderbilt on Tuesday and has been in decent spirits.  His sense of humor has begun to show as he was visited by many friends.  He is swallowing a lot better now and has eaten some of his favorites (Chik-Fil-A and Five Guys).   He is getting prepared to head to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center first thing tomorrow morning.  His family has been waiting on insurance approval. In case you dont know the Shepherd Center it a world class facility and supposedly one of the best in the country for spinal injury rehab.  Praying for perfect results there. Considering the circumstances, Jacob is in decent spirits.  He has some reflexive movement in his legs which I think is probably a very positive sign.  Don't read too much into that just yet as there is no telling what the real prognosis is... just hopeful that is good thing.  I am really just happy that it seems like he has a punchers chance of getting something back.  He is a strong young man and very determined so I think he will fight as hard as he can in physical therapy while down in Atlanta. More than one of you has asked me about an address to send donations.  I know GoFundMe isn't for everyone.  If you want to go that route, you can make a check to "Blackman Wrestling Club" and we will pass anything received directly to the Kinderdines.   Jacob Kinderdine c/o Blackman Wrestling 4836 Trevino Court Murfreesboro, TN  37128 Also, want to thank everyone who has donated so far.  Jacobs dad will take a month off work and stay in Atlanta with him.  They need to learn how to take care of him and do home therapy work..... and surely Jacob will be glad his dad can be there.  All that could not happen without you all.  Depending on what happens, they will probably end up doing some home remodeling in order to accommodate Jacob at their home.  Thanks again. Here's a pic I lifted from Facebook of Jacob on Oxy talking to his Uncle.  LOL
