Predictions for the upcoming year?

Heard Central only lost 2 starters, Sargent will be missed. Doubt Central will make the state tournament this year, they cannot compete with the better AA schools in the state. Dekalb has a guaranteed win every week with Jennings ( as long as he is healthy ). Upperman did lose Cannon but should still be able to contend. LA was young last year, should pay off this spring. Don't know much about Smith and Macon, but could surprise with some wins. Cannon and York will bring up the rear like always.

Other than maybe losing to Jennings, I don't see Central Magnet losing a district game.

They have depth at pitching and a number of good hitters returning.

Central loses only 3 starters, and lose only 11 innings to graduation. I think they can make state once again. If they can play tight and mistake-free ball, should be scary good.

Upperman still will have their strong pitching as always. It will be a toss up between them and MCM. Smith County will be ahead of DeKalb because DeKalb is weak without Jennings on the mound. Cannon County will have a strong defense as usual and will win games if they can manufacture runs. Macon and York will be holding up the bottom. York showed no promise last year.

I agree that everyone is chasing Central Magnet. Upperman has to figure out some pitching with the new rule changes as well as filling some spots. The loss of 9 seniors will have a large impact but several key players returning. Dekalb from my understanding Jennings will only be able to pitch from what I've heard. No hitting or playing defense and I assume this is all subject to change. Smith I'm not sure what all they lost and have returning. LA is still young and in my opinion a work in progress.
