I thought MC looked really good on both sides of the ball. The offense was going good and the defense has looked really good in coverage. They haven't lost a 7-on-7 yet. Not to mention, MC beat a really talented Gallatin team 3 touchdowns to 2.

I seem to have seen a different MC at Gordonsville 7 v 7. QB is a stud as expected and MC will be able to run as expected. However their WR's could not get off a good route. QB got called for 5 seconds a ton of times. I know in a game he would have ran everyone of those but not being able to pass is going to hurt this team.

Did you go to the last 7 on 7? We beat gallatin so what does that say! My son plays and said hardly anyone felt like playing so they did have an off performance at Gordonsville

MC had an off performance in gordonsville. I've seen this MC team pass really efficient in the two before gordonsville and honestly, I thought that MC finished the one at gordonsville better than they did to begin the day.

Who are the top wr at MC? And size or speed?

Gallatin doesn't throw the ball well at all. Extremely run-oriented offense. Carlisle is a much better QB than Gallatin's starter. 

 

There's a lot of concern about the WR group being able to get open, and getting protection up front as well. Anything serviceable and Carlisle should throw for 2,000 and run for 1,000.

First congrats to Carlisle he's earned it... I did mention I only seen them at Gordonsville and my comment was from that 7v7 only. "7v7 is 7v7" however if you can't pass at 7v7 with no pressure and 5 seconds you wont do it with a rush, jamming, contact and less time under the lights. From the one 7v7 i seen he might run for 1200 and pass for 800.

You might want to check with Shelbyville, Franklin and Smyrna on that.  Gallatin has been rotating 3 different QB's during the 7 on 7s.  If Macon Co beat them then I would expect them to be pretty dang good.  Gallatin will be no pushover for anybody.

Minor's the starter until further notice. And no, they won't be a pushover, but with Hillsboro and Beech in front, they also won't be any better than third in that region. Plus, if you're judging a run-first team's potential based on 7-on-7s, you're going to be extremely disappointed come playoff time.
