KEV-O
#1 per season team is returning 1 defensive starter and 5 on offense? That's putting a lot of faith in the system to be putting them up top so early. Go Devils!!

I think it will come down to you guys and Betsy out of the east and Haywood and East in the West.

TryNotToSuck
In West Tennessee it should be Haywood's to lose. Crockett County will be my sleeper team. I do like Liberty, but I don't expect them to be as big of a threat as they were last year. Hardin County has the potential to win that district. North Side lost 20+ seniors so they will have question marks for them, also changing pretty much they whole new coaching staff. Lexington, not expecting much from them unless they change their offensive scheme.
32hammer
I think Greenville is the favorite, but I can see ranking East #1 as defending champs in Spring. I'm telling you, don't be surprised if Eliz wins it all next year. I called Central as a finalist threat before the season started in 2016. Eliz is well coached and has a couple of outstanding athletes in key positions. If they avoid injuries and play up to their potential, good possibility for taking home the 4A gold ball

If they avoid injuries and play up to their potential, good possibility for taking home the 4A gold ball EHS is the sleeper team this year. New to 4A this season, one of the smaller 4a schools. They can sneak up on you. Ask Alcoa. I still think Greeneville is the team to beat in the east as we have a poor track record against them but I also believe we are closer to them this year than we have ever been in previous years. EHS has the potential to be state champions. Alcoa stood in the way for 3A and Greeneville has been stopping us in 4a so hopefully our luck can change
lakecounty1968
Out west Memphis East will be solid but Haywood County is the team to really watch this season
ItsAlwaysSunnyInAtwood
Out west Memphis East will be solid but Haywood County is the team to really watch this season I'm hearing they return every last one of their starting skill position players. If they can build a line this team will be hard to stop
Bravey
Anderson County will finish top 5 this year I saw them a couple times last year and they were awful ... they gave up 55, 42,48,43,55,49 and 56 points to 7 of their opponents .. so 7 out of 10 games their defense was awful ... they will have abetter record cause they wont play Greeneville, Central , Fulton , Knox Catholic or Oar Ridge ..5 teams that dusted them last year but since they are playing a bunch of nobodys from Chattanooga this year ..look for them to make playoffs but not advance far .
