maybe those T$$AA jackrabets over in Murfreesboro have a rule in place that u cant play on Mama's Day weekend

TSSAA rules state that once a game is suspended in the second half, if the game can not be resumed that date, then the game is complete. Take nothing away from Meroll Hyde, but the real loser here is the team that won their district and has to play Central Magnet. Yikes!

Addendum: unless the game is tied when the game is called. Hume-Fogg and MLK are finishing their overtime today because they are still tied.

Merrol Hyde played very well in the first half and did what had to be done to win. Central is a very talented team, but they should have closed it in the first half. Congrats to Hyde. I only wish it was Macon County instead of Hyde. The Hyde/Macon was a great game that both teams battled for 100 minutes. I always stress to my team when we play games with lightning likely to occur it is essential to win the first half as the game is official at that point if it's called.
