Weathers has 7 K's after 3 innings n allowed 0 hits. Willis on mound for Cherokees....still 2-0 going to bottom 4th (GB batting.) 2nd time around lineup, maybe it'll help.

Not the way plate umpire calling. Everything he pitched was called strike. I guess those optical nerves couldn't process that fast. Field umpire apologized for missed calls for Weathers & against Willis.😳 Oh well Weathers & Willis are done until Friday if still alive.

Guess Mr. Baseball is the real deal. Beauty of state tourney is that it rewards depth. Cherokees have depth....fat lady isn't singing yet!

You got that right! 2-0 ballgame turned into 4-0 late with a couple errors but hopefully we'll see them again and see who wins battle with Weathers not on the mound. He is awesome pitcher and that is why he gets some calls as well.

Sounds like that #8 pitched a whale of a game as well. You should be very proud, no matter how things go the rest of the week. I can't imagine watching my son play his last games. It's coming soon enough, I reckon. Maybe they've got 5 more games in them!

Hey David, do you guys charge for parking also? Just curious if it's a TSSAA thing and not complaining about our venue at all.

It's $5 to park & $10 admission, but that covers other areas as well for the day. I left Riverdale yesterday after 1st game & went to MTCS for 2nd & wasn't charged again for parking nor admission

Was able to get there during the rain delay in time to see Gordonsville go ahead and stay ahead for the rest of the day. Greenback had a good pitcher I felt like, one of the better we have seen this year. The Huntingdon gave was a blowout that got interesting but glad to see the Tigers pull it out in the end. This lower bracket was loaded with great teams!
