You are correct Beach Hound. Coach Gaddis needs to retire. He has never been effective running this football program. He had great talent and should have won four or more state championships. The assistant coaches also need to retire. The AD needs to clean house with the entire coaching staff. I no longer give money to support the football program.

You don’t know anything about Oak Ridge football. Emory Hale won many games against bigger and faster teams. And he won 3 championships. Talk to some of the former football players at Oak Ridge and they will say the same thing.

As I said previously, Coach Gaddis has been coaching 49 years but has only won one state championship at Oak Ridge. He has had excellent talent to work with but still has not won. He and the entire coaching staff need to go! All of you keep making excuses for the team when the real problem is Coach Gaddis!

I noticed that against Powell, Oak Ridge ran the toss sweep and the ball was pitched back 8-10 yards deep. By the time the runner got to the line of scrimmage, the defense was waiting on him. As fast as Fulton is on defense, that play will not work.
