  1. I was at the games and I can guarantee you that the fog rolled in way before 200. In fact at one point around 11 you could not see anybody except the pitcher and catcher. After a 10-15 delay the fog seemed to lift and the games at City Park resumed. Within 15 minutes the fog rolled back in and once again you could only see the pitcher and catcher and the infielders was barely visible.
  2. I was at the game yesterday and watched 2 very good athletes in Christopher and Flowers. I haven't seen either one of these schools play until yesterday. I watched Christopher last year in the state and was impressed with her. She might not have had alot of points but the assist she had and the attention she drew was a big part of this game. The other girls just stepped up and played. If anyone was watching closely she sat out about 2 minutes of 4th quarter and when she came back into the game she wanted the basketball. Three straight drives to the basket and drew the foul. Although they called the fouls on the floor before the shot she still came back into the ballgame wanting the basketball and showing she could score. I think in this game they slowed the ball down and knew that LC was going to double her and she just showed what kind of player she really is. You don't teach some of the no look passes she had. She is an all around great ballplayer. I don't think at this point you can compare the 2 players. After all 1 is a Senior and the other a Freshman.
  3. I thought Saturday game began at 4:00 with Shelbyville girls and then a boys game at 5:30 and then at 7:00 the LC/Tullahoma winner vs. Coffee/Franklin and then the boys game at 8:30. I think the Monday consolation is at 6:30 and championship is at 8:00.
  4. Does anyone know the times of the games that will be played at Tullahoma?
  5. Do you have the times on the games at Tullahoma on the 21st and the 23rd?
  6. She didn't score alot of points and that is usually what everybody talks about is points. Columbia played a box in one on her and doubled her in the post. That's when she hit the open girl for the assist. LC had alot of missed opportunities with layups and turnovers. They convert on these and the game would have been a blow out!
  7. Lawrence Co. has some talented girls from top to bottom. They need a little work on their half court offense. They stand way to much. On defense they are not as aggresive as they should be. They have several great ball handlers and need to utilize more than just 2-3 to handle the ball and to produce on offense. The younger girls need confidence. They have 3 players that start that have no experience at the high school level of play - 1 sophmore and 2 freshmen). Give them a little more experience and LC will be a well rounded ball team. I think they will surprise several teams when it really counts.
