An outsider progressive came into the administration and ran a LOT of good Maryville people out of the school. One of whom happened to run the entire media conglomerate of Maryville including sports. His content production Included morning announcement shows, NFHS live streams of games (which were done pretty well, considering), highlight videos for the end of the year (in FB and MBB), and much more behind the scenes. If you wish you had better sports media (or any media) from MHS, thank your new Principal for running loyal Maryville folks off.

I'd love to see a side by side of Derek Hunt (or GQ back in the day) talking to his kids while being secretly recorded and compare it to this recording. Then we can side-by-side their win-loss records.

If the right person gets the job and recruits and retains, it will pay more. Keeping football players paying tuition is as important as winning at MC.

Amazing showing by a really impressive team. This has been a fun series and Oakland has made their half of the split look easy when they win. I just sit back and laugh and the imbeciles from other teams swooping in like vultures to hate on Maryville when their team has been eliminated for weeks. MJ is an absolute clown lmfao

I like to make fun of Rankin always saying about 6 days before this game "Well, you know, we're only a 3A school, it's hard to compete with a 6A school" always building those excuses well before the game starts. However, it was ABSOLUTELY apparent during the last half of the 3rd and entire 4th quarter that Maryville just wore down the Alcoa team (many kids playing both ways). Big fight in Alcoa, they'll win the state easy. Good game to watch. Maryville tried to give it away!

Probably not an agenda, these are out of town refs... but yeah, probably an ego.

They did miss the down, though. I have no idea why it went from 2nd to 3rd down. Seems like the refs let it all get out of control, too. The ref on the SH sideline should have de-escalated instead of immediately flagging. Easy to ignore blabbing coaches so long as they're not being super personal.

Both players were still "playing after the whistle" so to speak, but there was nothing malicious about either of these movements, and nothing unsportsmanlike... you know... until the kid started screaming at the ref.

Wrong. Film shows the lineman trying to get up and off of the SH player when the SHHS player rolls HIMSELF away quickly causing the Maryville player to fall back down on him. I could see from your side of the stands that you would think it was the MHS player pushing after the whistle, but that's not what's on film.
