  1. 120 Bronson Clark is from Siegel Wrestling Club not blackman Thanks
  2. If you are in the Murfreesboro area and want to help coach youth and middle school wrestling, Siegel Wrestling Club is looking for help for next season. If you are interested please contact Coach Donovan Freeman by email at [email protected]. Thank you
  3. Not only did Coach Peck leave Ravenwood to go to Nolensville, so did a lot of the kids that were there and / or coming up through the middle school programs. You have to think too that they are also loosing one of their better feeder programs, as Sunset Middle School (along with the new Mill Creek Middle) will now primarily feed Nolensville more so than Ravenwood. And to top it all off, in the two seasons he has been gone, Ravenwood has had two different coaches. The stability of the program along with loosing a pretty good feeder program (time for Woodland Middle to step up) can damage any program for multiple years to come. I feel bad for Ravenwood as I am an alumni and helped set the foundation for their 5 year run at the state tournament. On top of that, the other programs in the county have really stepped up their game in the last few years. Good to see those teams succeed as they weren't as dominate when I was their. It always goes in cycles (unless you are the exception like Bradley, Cleveland, Soddy, Wilson, etc.)
  4. Hello. If anybody has an extra wrestling shoes or headgear that they have laying around and looking to get rid of please let me know. I am gathering this extra gear for athletes in my local area that don't have access to any or can't afford any. I'm looking for all sizes but mostly for middle school and high school. The most asked for size is between 9-12. I have some money I can spend but buying all of this out of my own pocket so cheaper is better. Please let me know you can email me at [email protected] or text me at 615-598-8419. Thank you and God Bless, Donovan Freeman
  5. Please be keeping the Murfreesboro Wrestling Community in your prayers, specifically the Siegel Wrestling Community as one of their own, Mason Loupe (sophomore), was life-flighted to Vanderbilt Saturday after being shot. His status is still undetermined and he is on life support. Things are better than they were Saturday but they still don't know what the outcome is going to be. The community showed great support when they gathered together last night at the high school for a candle light vigil last night but your prayers for Mason, his family, and the community is greatly appreciated by all of those who knew him. Thank you for everything
  6. Great to see youth interested in wrestling. There are a lot of good youth teams developing around the area. Obviously it depends on where you are located but as stated before Spring Hill is definitely a good place to start near Marshall county. If you are anywhere near Murfreesboro, Siegel has an up and coming youth program that has some decent freshman for the high school this season. Again all depends on where you are. As far as Team Tennessee goes, east Tn is extremely competitive in wrestling but talk to John Salter, from Murfreesboro. He usually has a hand in Team Tennessee and is very connected to a lot of the wrestling community in TN. His email is [email protected] . He will be able to give you a lot of info about middle tn wrestling in general but also about the youth programs as he is very involved with them.

I talk to him a reasonable amount to know. They do have his last name spelled wrong here, but it's still him
  8. Believe Rex Shotts is redshirting but he won the Oklahoma Open this weekend.
