I think ER wins in a close 4 quarter game! The first time they played it was a fight to the end and I expect nothing different. I'm going with ER 20-18. Can't wait to see this rematch! It is hard to be the same team twice in 1 year!! Let's go Pioneers!!!

I respect your pic pounder1. But not your comment. I been saying that since 2001 when I went to ER buddy. Here is one for ya I noticed ER players and coaches created #BTM Bigger Than Me. That is the direction the program at ER. Change doesn't happen overnight but I sense good things for the program as long as they respond to last weeks good old fashioned butt kicking the right way with a District win over a solid Hixson team! I was shocked as we'll with the Loudon loss. Was afraid it was a trap game with them being 0-5 and it seemed as much. I also heard rumor that Loudon got 5-6 guys back that hadn't played so maybe that effected it but either way ER wasn't ready for the Loudon game. I doubt they are overlooking Hixson this week as they may have. As a fan I hope they are more prepared mentally and physically than last week. That was hard to watch from the stands! Pioneer for life! Bring it this week ER and shock everyone again like y'all did with the Polk win! I'm picking ER by 4!

Thoughts on the game this Friday?

I think it will be somewhat close for a while but I think central May have more athlete. 1 or 2 big plays will probably decide this one for either team. But I'm going central by 13.

Agreed it is way too early to be saying anyone will handle the district. A lot cannot happen and remember these are high school kids and how they respond week to week to success or lack of success is vital for high school teams. I'm interested to see how ER is gonna respond to having some success in beating a ranked team in Polk County. For all Pioneer fans I hope they are focused on Brainerd and nothing else!!! ER fumbled opening kickoff of second half. Teams were even on turnovers man. Good game. Good luck to Polk for rest of year. They each had 2 turnovers.

True but most of his yards did come in the first half. And on that 45 yard run in 3rd. That is all I was saying. Polk has to find a way to get him rested on defense. He is too valuable to play both ways all the time. Hopefully both teams had no injuries and good luck to Polk the rest of the year!
