A good group of young athletes and a 6'5 center that should be a premier player in our area this year. If they can play strong defense and be patient on offense, they can be really good.

Our Ladies care...they are pumped. Safe travel wishes for Forrest Fans. Should be packed. I have so much respect for the way Clarkrange and Forrest has continued this HOF tradition. It's a hard trip, but a showcase matchup in the state....

I hear Forrest returns a veteran team, while Clarkrange will rely on some talented young players. How does everyone see this shaking out?

Good win to start the year for the Buffaloes. Alderman and Jones are really stepping up as leaders. I thought Stephens helped set some ealry offensive confidence that carried over to his teamates. His shots early on where a huge boost for the team. The Henry twins always give 110% and they are such great kids, they are really gonna help this year.(Hoping to see a talented freshmen group worked into this rotation....I think they will with time...the talent is there and they are really gonna be something special when they get some experience.) This team will improve as the season goes on. Hoping they have another good year.

Congrats to Forrest. They just kicked our butts on both ends of the floor. Beth Hawn was a good player last year, she was absolutely dominant tonight and is right up there with Laken Leonard as a Miss Basketball contender this season. They came out ready to play and we came in thinking we were gonna win and it showed. I hope this game motivates our girls to work hard. I hate to loose, but enjoy this rivalry and the hospitality. AuntKim and company, you are a class act. (hope we get another shot at you...lol)

Watched Clay Co. play York...but where was Amelia Kirk(6' Jr I think)? She did not play.....just curious....

Congrats to Leonard. They are getting one of the best. MTSU continues to pull some of the best from the state.

You need to go back, read what I said...I never trashed anyone, especially not the student....I hope Laken Leonard gets an awsome scholarship (hope to see her at TTU or MTSU). I said I was sorry for being so critical...and that is it...I owe you nothing else. You are so mad because we are on top right now you get on a message board and want to trash our team. My point is that it is just as pathetic as I was. It does make me mad when someone talks bad about ANY part of our school or any school in our county. If you have anything else to say about our school or our team...say it to my face.....I will be happy to send you my contact info if you would like it. This is not a debatable topic or a interesting topic. Your intent is to try to disrupt our students and cause negative feelings within our community. YOU SHOULD NOT CRITIZE ANY STUDENT IN OUR COUNTY OR ATTEMPT TO CAUSE DIVISION OR CONFLICT WITHIN OUR SCHOOLS.

I am sorry that I ever said anything about the JC situation two years ago. I was very critical of comments that the Leonard family made in the Tennessean. Like I have said, I was more bitter about the competition than anything.lol I deserve all this bad talk, but I do not think the kids deserve having their team trashed because I ran my mouth. mrbigster- you have made some good points, but I think it would be hard for TSSAA to enforce inter-county school zones. MIDTNSPORTSFAN - this is your last warning. You have made your point and I respect your right to be upset, but drop it......or your mouth is gonna finally get you in some trouble. You are an embarrassement to most everyone on here, including your own JC faithful. You will accomplish nothing thru your attempt to degrade our team. This thread should be closed.

I will tell you all from a personal standpoint that I ran my mouth about Laken Leonard all of 2007-08 season and then she beat us in state finals. I had a nice piece of humble pie when Molly moved in and helps us go 39-0 and win it all last year. Molly Heady is an outstanding person, as well as an athlete. Now Carley has made the move and most every 8th grader in the county wants a shot to play at Clarkrange. I wish all the kids success no matter where or what they play. I hate the fact that York was the place Carley left. I want York to be win and be successful too. I dont know Carley very well, but I hope she does well and it benefits her. I look forward to supporting our teams this year. You dont have to recruit players. Success brings attention to your program and provides kids close to Clarkrange with an opportunity to be a part of it. What I have learned from this is that it happens alot and if people are following the rules and the rules provide for a move, who am I to run my mouth about it all the time??? (who am i to run my moouth about 99% of the stuff i fuss about...lol) If you dont agree with transfers, have you every went thru the proper channels to get the rules changed? I respect AuntKim and her opinion, but I think she would have a different take on this if someone like a Lauren March had moved in to Forrest last year and they would have run the table. AuntKim, what would you say about this if you were on the other side of it and you got to know some of these girls like Molly or Carley? Would you be so quick to be critical? I was very critical of Leonard's family, but was more ticked that they had kicked our tail than anything. I am not saying either of us would agree with transferring, but if it was my kid and they wanted it and it would benefit them or make them happier, I would do it and most anyone would if they thought they were doing what was best for their kid. and about the JV playing against Forrest...I do not think that was meant to be disrespectful...please do not take it that way....it is just camp...
