All interested parties should contact Ms. Angie Boggan, Decatur County Board of Education Human Resource Officer, send emails to: angie.boggan@decaturschools.org
  7. Just because it's not called doesn't make it legal. TSSAA called Robertson and told him that there were 7 different instances that a 15 yard penalty should have been called. Not saying they are coached to do it, but it is being done. Good luck this weekend. Watch your knees MP
  8. I don't understand why Adamsville would have to play "dirty" to beat Riverside. However, I know for a fact that Coach Robertson has contacted TSSAA and sent video to them concerning the illegal blocking below the waist by the defense. Before any one gets on here and says that the defense can't block below the waist needs to check out NFHS rule number 9-9-2.
  9. Decatur County Riverside High School (Decaturville, TN) is seeking an assistant football coach who holds a valid Tennessee Teaching Certificate or the ability to obtain one with endorsements in World Geography and U.S. History. They are seeking to fill the position by January 5, 2015. Please send resume to Principal, Hugh Smith, hugh.smith@decaturschools.org or Athletic Director Jeff Robertson, jeff.robertson@decaturschools.org .
  10. It's GameDay!!!!!!!! Go Riverside, start the march!!! Good luck to both teams tonight and hope everyone is safe from injury.
  11. The actual call was for facegaurding on Jabriel. If you notice in the photo his hands are raised and he is not looking back at the ball. That is the rule book definition of facegaurding. Either way both teams played a tremendous game. TCA brought their A game and played very well but Riverside also was able to control the game with their running attack and hit the passes when they were needed. Congrats to RHS on their first Region Championship since 1981.
  12. This game should be a slobberknocker. Both teams are experienced and dangerous. PC has very athletic skilled people that can strike quickly. Riverside counters with a dangerous duo itself from the running back position. Should be a barn burner.
  13. Does any one know where we might be able to find a weightlifting match? Please get into contact with me if you are hosting one or know where we might participate in one. Thanks for your help.
  14. Ross is 2-1 with an ERA of 1.33. He has faced 90 batters and given up 16 hits and 5 walks. He has 37 strikeouts. Opponents are hitting a meager .193 against him. Offensively, Ross is batting .333 with a .357 average with runners in scoring position. He has 5 RBI and one HR.
