Yes 11A is very young this year. In fact at least 5 teams could win the tourny. I believe that 12A is superior without a doubt but this is the best chance in quite sometime for 11A to get into the Region 6 finals. 12A has the players no doubt but look at the yo-yo year almost all have had.

Your telling me that a coach can not be in the stands and watch his or her players in AAU or travel softball (unless its a sibling) and you can use players to work a camp directly conducted be the head and assistant coaches. If that be the case, why not leave the gym doors open or the weight room and let the kids have at it. It may be permitted and they may have approval (i hope so) but then it should not be called dead week.

When will the hire happen? Will it be Jim Hamilton the Zion legend himself?

Lets say a team in TN wins the Babe Ruth State Tourn. Classes for school starts on Aug. 1 and the teams begin Southeast Region play on the 3rd of Aug. If that team has 6 players that attend one High School and are on the High School team they (according to TSSAA new rules) will be ineligible to play HS baseball if they participate in the Babe Ruth Tourn. Please give your opinion. Rules are supposed to be followed letter by letter. Wouldn't it be ashamed to keep kids from doing one because of the other?????

Coaches do not nominate players for the all region team nor do they get to vote for there own players
