  2. This event is absolutely going down....The Union Grove S32 Qualifier has been a beast of an event for a while now. This year running on Flo Arena and being covered by Flo Cameras on every mat. Come join the fun. 8 States did last year. If you need validation on the quality of the event reach out to the numerous TN folks that have attended in the past…McCallie knows Tacos in a Bag you need one in your life..yum Last years results can be found here (scroll to bottom and view pg 2) http://gnwa.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=25698
  3. Come compete in the toughest S32 qualifier in the region. Union Grove HS McDonough GA (South Atlanta metro) will again serve as host location. Compound Teamwear as always is the event host. When: Saturday September 5th 2015. http://super32.com/index.html Sample of bracket 2014. 113# Top 4 placers. 2 were State Champs. 1 was a runner-up at their State tournaments. Five States were represented at this weight. A rising 8th grader won the weight and did so by tech. A GA State Champ DNP in this event. Numerous State runner-ups and State top four were in the bracket. Numerous highly decorated wrestlers DNP in this event. The event will be capped at 300 and is DEEP as the above listed suggests. #113 is just an example of the quality. Deep weights across the board. If you want competition come test yourself against Register early.
  4. Numbers are starting to come in now. 5 States already registered. We feel strongly that this Qualifier will be one of the best offered around the Country. Come on down for two great days of wrestling. S32 Saturday and Chris Perry Sunday. http://www.cmpclothing.com/S32/
  5. Just 25 bucks for S32 Qualifier participants. 35 for any other walkups.

    S32 Qualifier

http://forum.gnwa.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=22220 On behalf of Union Grove HS and Compound WC and CMP Clothing http://cmpclothing.myshopify.com/collections/all https://www.facebook.com/CompoundWrestling I wanted to say thanks to the 350+ wrestlers and their supporters that attended the event this past Saturday. Special thanks goes out to The Union Grove wrestling team and their families for hosting the event, running the tables, and running the concession stand. Extra special thanks goes out to Coach Matt Ferrari for his leadership and pre-planning preparing for all set-up and break down of the gym and countless other details he addressed. The wrestling was fantastic. Travis as always you served as the tournament director making the matches happen. You only had (1) Mnt. Dew! We were done before 7 pm (meeting our goal) with all wrestling. Many finals were done much earlier than that. We tried to get the upper weights out early this year as many of those kids play football and had a late night the evening before the S32 Qualifier. We had everything from a nationally ranked S32 finalist to good MS wrestlers participating. The Out of State support was unbelievable and their talent was undeniable. Congrats to those who placed top 4 as you earned the right to register early. To those that did not place, we still recommend that you challenge yourself and attend the toughest pre-season event in the Country. http://www.super32.com/ On a personal note I watched several studs from GA get pushed HARD in this event. State Champs were meeting in finals or even earlier rounds. State placers were leaving with losing records, etc… It was a wakeup call to all that the season is right around the corner, time to get in shape and get back after it. Antioch NC, Cleveland TN, Flagler Florida and Jesuit LA….you guys had some studs reppin in this event. Thanks for the support year in and year out. Good luck to ALL wrestlers that will go on to have a tremendous season this year! Everybody got better Saturday! Also thanks to the 20 plus TN Youth wrestlers that came down to Wrestle Fest and got after it for 4 hours.....some great youth talent was on display 5 miles down the road from the Qualifier at Ola HS
  8. As alwyas the best way to ensure you get in to S32 is attend a Qualifying event. We always welcome TN wrestlers to GA ...several came last year and did very well. From GA Boards Year in and year out the toughest event I have seen.......S32 ! Ask Sean or Ryan what they think of the event and placing. Ask any MS wrestler what their experience was like. Ask the countless GA HS State placers and State champs that went 0-2 or DNP place what they think. Ask the wrestlers who are wrestling in college right now as we speak that did not place what they think of S32. I encourage folks to get ready for this event. Union Grove is hosting the Qualifying event with the GNWA running said event. All are welcome. The qualifying event over the years has provided some very intriguing matchup's as there are no classifications That dream match up you have been waiting to see often takes place one time a year and it is at the S32 Qualifier. Lets prepare for S32 in October with GA wrestlers putting in the work wherever they train so we can have our best showing ever. S32 2013! My two cents http://cmptrained.com/qualifier/
  9. Now Registering for the 2013 Militia Duals in Suwannee, GA This year's event promises to be even bigger and better than before, with 2 HS divisions and 1 All Star division. Reserve your spot today before we are full. On June 14th, 15th and 16th 60 teams will take to battle on 12 mats at the Suwanee Sports Academy. We have some new exciting divisions at this year’s Militia Duals. We will be splitting the high school divisions into a Gold and Black division and keeping our Club / Allstar division as well. This will allow young teams to compete in the Black division and still get great competition and top tier teams with a lot of depth to wrestle tougher competition in the Gold division. It is always our goal to not only provide a great summer wrestling event but also provide a quality competitive product as well. Compound Clothing will be providing our custom finalist singlets for the Club / Allstar and Gold divisions this year. Black division will not have finalist singlets but will receive some great placement trophies. Please read and understand all the roster rules and submissions before registering your team. To officially be registered for the 2013 Militia Duals you will need to follow all the directions on the registration page located here. We look forward to another great tournament and an even deeper field with Club teams from all over the country. http://gnwa.org/militia/index.html Questions contact cfretwell@gnwa.org or cnsmuck@gmail.com or ruffin1843@gmail.com
  10. Yup Askey is a hammer! Yes he is going to VA. NHSCA Champion, Flo Nationals Finalist. S32 placer, etc etc. He is about as sure a bet in GA wrestling in wuite a few years. Trained at TWC for years and gets out there Nationally. Again thanks for helping build the event. We always enjoy our trips to TN supporting local and Regional events like Bristol Brawl and Tornado Duals. Askey will enter his senior varsity season looking to become one of only 25 athletes in the history of the GHSA to win state titles in all four seasons. Far fewer, however, have ever finished the feat undefeated. After winning a 170-pound Class AAAA title in February, Askey upped his career record in the GHSA to 151-0. Prior to high school, he was a youth All-American wrestler and national champion multiple times.
