Mitchell isn't even the number 2 team in they bracket. I remember y'all saying Fayette Ware didn't have a chance against Dyersburg and they pulled the upset if you want to call it that. I think any team can be beat on any night Hamilton is a favorite but they are not a clear cut favorite or dominant team.
No matter how beatable they are, they still should be #2 give them the respect they have earned the !st part of the year. Still no team from Tennessee has beat them since they so beatable.
but with bolivar being in Region 8, what top tier opponent would they face in the district and region. Haywood and Covington would give them some competition but I could see them in sub-state. Region 8 Bolivar Central and Haywood/Covington. In substate it just depends on how the ball is falling that night.
What if she doesn't dress them out and they lose? What if she is trying to get Miss Basketball? What if she is trying to be a 2,000 point scorer? Stats don't matter but 10 years from nobody is going to remember Haywood coach played her starters but they will remember that Shutes was the All time leading scorer at Haywood. She miss that game and that could cost her. I wouldn't care if I was playing a middle school team, if you step on the floor friendly ball is out the door coach or player.
That looks about right, but I would put Southside in Tier 1 because of the path they have to get to state, they wont face a top tier opponent until Substate.
R. Egypt will be the team to beat coming out of Memphis, but they do have to go through Ripley, Haywood, Covington and Fayette Ware, along with Mitchell, Sheffield, Melrose and Hamilton. So anything can happen between now and March
Lonzo. All team went undefeated his senior yr and they didn't play in the dicks Tournament and they was national champs, the best teams are not in the Dicks tournament. Just like last yr Michael Porter Jr team went undefeated and was National Champs and they didn't compete in the Dicks Tournament neither. So it's not Honorary
