  1. You cannot beat a good football team with five turnovers. Those turnovers kept CPA alive in last Friday's game. Looking at Webb v Ashville film,.. CPA is bigger than Webb upfront and maybe a bit faster. Then again, it was Webb's first game I believe.... This week at the E the focus is on LITTLE THINGS. If Ensworth plays focused this week, Webb could be made an example of. I'm hoping for a great injury free game out of both teams.
  2. Congratulations to CPA. They deserved this win! I hope they win a Gold Ball...
  3. From what I saw with Lipscomb and what I have heard about Webb,... Webb's offense should be tougher to contain with the speed in the backfield.
  4. How close??? I was on the chain crew on the Mustang sideline! So,.... Close enough to make my analysis. Lipscomb is average sized upfront at best. They played with all that they had. I hope they score a bunch this week!
  5. After seeing Lipscomb up close... I totally agree! JPII should handle the Mustangs. Lipscomb looked small in the trenches.
  6. Maybe they know you're a CPA guy and muted your stream...?!?
  7. There's audio and play by play on the livestream....
  8. All Ensworth football games are streamed at www.ensworthlive.com
  9. Ensworth will be at full strength this week against CPA. Team speed will determine the winner of this one. Both teams are big upfront so the trench battle will be better than what CPA saw versus Stratford. Glad to see the Lions in Div. 2! Safe travels to CPA on their 2mi. journey to the E! Get there early, and don't forget about the covered parking lot in the new tennis facility on the West side of the campus!
  10. Ensworth has non-conference games with Lipscomb Academy, CPA, Trezevant, and Knox-Webb.
  11. Out of the Final 4 in D2-AA, The E has the biggest line on both sides of the ball. And they're getting better every game. If the QB can make some sound decisions and everyone holds on to the football, it could get ugly tonight and in Cookeville.
  12. Speed kills. And FV has plenty of it. It's what sets them apart from the rest of the region this season. Speed is also what most privates are stocked with player for player on their rosters. It's the unlevelling of the playing field when they matchup against a public. FV is more than capable of standing in on every down with GP! I believe that turnovers and special teams will determine who moves on to the next round in this one... But I'm pulling for FV!
